The First City Football Club is an amateur/semi-professional adult soccer organization based in Leavenworth, the First City of Kansas. Our mission is to inspire and unite our community through the power and love of soccer. We are committed to excellence on the field and dedicated to making a lasting, positive impact off the field. Through inclusive programs, youth development, and meaningful partnerships, we aim to foster a sense of pride, belonging, and opportunity for all who call our city home. We play as one, for more than just victory, for our community.

VISION

First City Football Club is a partner of Leavenworth Soccer Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been a staple in the soccer community in Leavenworth for over 30 years. The vision of the club is to become a leading force in men's, women’s, and youth soccer, recognized for our local pride, respect, and commitment to excellence. Our goal is to cultivate a legacy of success by developing athletes, promoting a positive team culture, and making a lasting impact in our community and beyond.

HOMEGROWN PLEDGE

 

First City Football Club is a community club. In our view, in order to be a community club, you need to have community talent on the team. For this reason, we have pledged to reserve a number of roster slots on the First Team rosters specifically for homegrown players. 

​

What is a homegrown player? Homegrown means you grew up in the Leavenworth community. You attended school in our community and call our community home. We want playing for the First Team to be a goal for the kids in our community, we want them to feel that pride when they step onto the field to represent their community at the highest level.
