Misconduct Outcomes
Yellow Card Accumulation
Accumulating 4 yellow cards results in a 1 game suspension. This is a recreational league focused on enjoying the game and having fun.
Yellow Card for Dissent Toward the Referee
First incident is a warning from the league.
A second occurrence imposes a 1 match suspension served during the next match.
Sending off for 2nd Yellow Card
Standard rules apply, disqualified for the remainder of the current match and miss the next match.
Only the 1st yellow card counts toward accumulation.
Sending off for Straight Red Card
Automatic 2 match suspension (remainder of current match + 2 matches), appeals may be considered.

Violent Conduct/Fighting
Automatic removal from the league for the remainder of the season. Again, this is a recreational league focused on enjoying the game.
Rules of the Competition (Changes from Standard LOTG)
Law 1- The Field
Indoor facility, approximate size of a basketball court
Law 2- The Ball
Size 4 Futsal ball
Law 3- The Players
Teams will play 6v6 (1 GK + 5 field players); Minimum number to play is 4 (1 GK + 3 field players); Unlimited rolling (hockey style) substitutions
Law 4- Player’s Equipment
Teams are given game shirts; sport shoes (no cleats) and shin guards fully covered by socks are mandatory; GK jersey not required, but Keeper needs to wear a different shirt
Law 5- The Referee
Matches officiated by one (1) Referee
Law 6- Other Officials
No other match officials
Law 7- Duration of Match
45-min match (2- 20-min halves, 5-min halftime)
Team Captains are allowed to call one (1) timeout during each half; a timeout is one-minute in length
Law 8- Start and Restart of Play
No change
Law 9- Ball In & Out of Play
If the ball hits the ceiling during play, restart will be a kick-in on the touchline nearest to the position of the ball when it hit the ceiling
Kick-ins will be taken with a 4-second time limit; exceeding the limit results in change of possession
Law 10- Outcome of a Match
12-goal mercy rule, at the discretion of the losing team’s Captain
For competitive division play, maximum goal differential awarded at the completion of a game is +6 regardless of the score
Law 11- Offside
No offside
Law 12- Fouls and Misconduct
No slide tackling, restart is IFK for dangerous play; if contact is made with an opponent restart as Direct Free Kick
Goalkeeper halfway line infraction- if GK throws the ball past the halfway line, restart is Indirect Free Kick to the opposing team where the ball crossed the halfway line
Law 13- Free Kicks
No change; safety standoff distance is 5 yards
Accumulated Fouls rule- a Direct Free Kick is awarded when a team accumulates 6 fouls, and for all subsequent fouls, within a half
Law 14- Penalty Kicks
No change
Law 15- Kick-ins
Team in possession has 4 seconds to take kick-in, with limited leniency for recovering a ball
Time infraction = possession change
Opponents must abide by a 2yd standoff distance
Law 16- Goal Clearance
The Goalkeeper must put the ball into play within 4-seconds of gaining possession
Law 17- Corner Kicks
Team in possession has 4 seconds to take the corner kick
Safety standoff distance is 5 yards
